🌺 This “Chomper Flower” Lego Build Is The Most Unhinged (And Awesome) Stranger Things-Esque Set I’ve Ever Seen

If you’re a fan of Stranger Things-level creepiness, shape-shifting builds, and insane brick details—drop everything. I just finished this Chomper Flower set, and it’s easily the coolest (and creepiest) build I’ve added to my collection this year.
Let’s start with the vibe: This thing is straight out of the Upside Down. It’s a two-form monster build—yes, two forms—and both are equally terrifying (in the best way possible):
1. The “Innocent” Plant Form
At first glance? It’s a sinister-looking red flower (dubbed “Chomper Flower”) with spiky petals, jagged teeth, and writhing tentacles. The stem is a gnarly mix of gray bricks and “veins” (red and yellow accents that look way too lifelike), and the base has these twisted, claw-like roots that look like they’re digging into the ground. It’s the kind of plant you’d run from in a dark forest.
2. The Monstrous Humanoid Form
Here’s where it gets wild: You can rebuild the flower into a full humanoid monster. The flower becomes its head (still covered in teeth and tentacles), and the stem/roots turn into a lanky, skeletal body with clawed hands, spiky limbs, and that same eerie “fleshy” detailing. It’s so dynamic—you can pose it like it’s lunging, standing menacingly, or even mid-snarl.
And the details? Chef’s kiss:
The flower head has movable petals (so you can “open” its jaws)
The humanoid form has a removable display base (so it can stand on its own, or you can pose it without it)
The bricks fit perfectly—no wobbly limbs, even with the lanky design
The color scheme (blood red + sickly gray + neon accents) feels exactly like something from a horror sci-fi series
I spent 3 hours building this, and every step felt like unwrapping a secret. The instructions were clear (even for the shape-shifting parts), and the way the flower transforms into a monster? Satisfying doesn’t cover it. It’s like building two sets in one.
If you’re into dark, creative builds that feel like they belong in a horror universe? This Chomper Flower is 10/10. It’s not just a build—it’s a conversation starter (my roommate walked in, saw it, and said “What is that… and where can I get one?”).
